NANCY SPRINGER
Vom College weg heiratete die amerikanische Autorin, wurde Hausfrau und Mutter und litt bald unter Depressionen. Sie begann, ihre erste Fantasy-Reihe zu schreiben und fand langsam aus ihren psychologischen Problemen heraus. Sie schrieb zuerst Bücher für erwachsene Leser, später auch für Kinder und Jugendliche und konnte bald vom Schreiben leben.
Viele ihrer Bücher haben auch ihr großes Hobby -das Reiten- zum Thema. (*1948)
